Your listening, and your privacy.

Using this website.

You don't need a Moon FM account to use this site. We have not added first-party advertising analytics, a newsletter sign-up, or an account system. The hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.

Preferences saved on your device.

The player can remember your volume setting, motion preference, and songs you save using your browser's local storage. These preferences remain in that browser; this website does not send them to a Moon FM account or sync them between devices. You can remove them by clearing this site's browser data. Private browsing or storage restrictions may prevent preferences from being saved.

Station information and audio.

The website requests station information, including current and recently played tracks, from Live365. These requests can happen before you press Play. Like other web requests, they disclose technical information such as your IP address to the provider. Artwork may also load from provider-hosted addresses.

When you choose to listen, your browser connects to Live365's streaming service. Live365 delivers the audio and may process listening and device information under its own policies. The stream may include advertising. Read the Live365 privacy policy for information about its practices.

Artist discoveries.

When the artist-discovery panel is near the screen, this site may request public artist data from Wikidata. Song-credit lookups happen when you select Explore this song. Requests include the artist or song name and standard network information such as your IP address. They do not send your saved-song collection or listening account information. Results are cached in local storage, with up to 100 entries, normally for up to seven days. Clear this site’s browser data to remove the cache. Read the Wikimedia privacy policy for the provider’s practices.

The partnership message tool.

The partnership form prepares text in your browser for you to copy. It does not send the form to Moon FM, create a mailing-list subscription, or store the message on our server. If you paste and send that message through Instagram or another service, that service processes it under its own terms and privacy policy.

Links to other services.

Listening directories, social profiles, and the Givebutter support page are separate services. Opening those links takes you to websites with their own privacy practices. Payments and support contributions are handled on the external provider's site, not by this website. Please review its terms before entering personal or payment information.
